The Parish Council are pleased to offer memorial benches for donorrship around the village.
Donating a bench in the village can often be an apt way of commemorating a loved one. It can also be used to celebrate a special occasion such as a wedding or anniversary. Benches provide a pleasant place to sit and relax and can be placed in most of our parks and open spaces (subject to the Parish Council's approval).
Prices to be paid by the Parish Council for its preferred bench from 1st April 2019 is £700 inclusive of the bench and installation. The Parish Council would be seeking a donation to cover the cost of the bench. The Council can arrange for a plaque and would seek to recover its costs for the plaque also, which is currently £12.50.
