PS 6162 Simpson Reports
Patrol conducted in the Walton ward area between 14:00hrs and
16:00hrs on 23/03/21.
Attention paid to Walton Park/field re nuisance youths/damage to
play equipment. No ASB issues…in use by
families/school children.
Patrols also conducted along Oakenshaw Lane, Shay Lane and Common
lane re speeding issues. All in order.
PC 1845 Blore reports
Safe scheme carried
out between 11:30 to 14:30 on Wednesday 24th March 2021
Foot and mobile
patrols made around BROOKFIELD'S estate nothing of note to report
Speed checks carried
out on Walton Lane 2 x drivers advised doing 34mph not much traffic on the
roads as the time of the checks.
There was a large
amount of footfall in the parish due to the nice weather, number of persons
engaged with who were all please to see officer on foot walking around the
location.
Nothing of note to
report or calls for service during the patrolled hours.
PC 599 THIMM reports
Pro-laser checks carried out as part of
SAFE scheme by Pc's 599 / 841 on Sunday 21st between 1300 x 1600 hrs.
Several drivers warned in
regards to travelling between 36 - 39 MPH and x1 ticket issued for speed
of 41 MPH.
Both locations GREENSIDE and SHAY LANE
used.
High number of people out walking and
positive comments received by officers.
PC Steel reports,
Patrols made on 20/03/2021 between 00:00 X 02:00. Oakenshaw Lane is
currently closed near the Doncaster Road end so no traffic coming through that
side of Walton. Foot patrol carried out around the area however no movement
seen at all. We then patrolled the park opposite Village Hall where a group of
youths were present. They were been loud and would
have no doubt disturbed local residents had they been allowed to carry on. They
were ordered to leave the area and dealt with for COVID breaches.
No other issues.
PS 6162
Simpson Reports
Patrol
conducted in the Walton ward area between 16:00hrs and 18:00hrs on 17/03/21.
Attention
paid on BROOKLANDS following suspicious people (possibly genuine though)
knocking on residents doors (log 1119 16/03) and for
nuisance motorbike sighted in the area (log 1309 16/03). No further sightings for either.
Patrol
along THE BALK following a report a cannabis misuse up near the golf club (Log
1721 15/3) Nothing on going.
PS 6162 Simpson
Reports
Patrol conducted in
the Walton ward area between 15:00hrs and 18:00hrs on 11/03/21.
Main arterial routes
patrolled including OAKENSHAW LANE, SHAY LANE, THE BALK, SCHOOL LANE and COMMON
LANE. No issues
SHAY LANE car park for
Walton Colliery Nature Park and Walton Sports and Social Club checked re Covid
gatherings/ASB. No vehicles/no issues.
Attention also paid to
Walton Park re nuisance kids. No issues.
PC Steel reports,
Patrols conducted between 23:00 X 02:00 on 01/03/2021. These patrols
were a mixture of mobile patrols in a marked vehicle, and foot patrols. The
mixture of patrols enables all arterial routes, aswell
as ginnels etc in the area to be patrolled.
There was 1 report of a suspicious vehicle in the area which we
stopped and checked. There were no issues at all (it was a local resident
returning home).
There was no-one out walking, and no vehicles located in any of the
car parks/laybys.
All in all a very quiet night.
PC 260 Hall Reports
Patrol conducted in
the Walton ward area between 18:00hrs and 19:00hrs on 04/03/21.
Car park on SHAY LANE
for Walton Colliery Nature Park checked re Covid gatherings/ASB. No vehicles/no issues.
Particular attention
paid to small carpark on Oakenshaw Lane after reports of ASB. No issues at the
time.
Crime
There have been 0 reported priority crimes in the Walton area during March.
There has been 1 report of criminal damage where a fence panel has been damage.
