Patrols:

 

Following my attendance at the meeting the patrols have been based on the issues raised. These patrols have been a mixture of high vis crime prevention patrols, and targeted speed operations.

Patrol conducted in the Walton ward area between 20:00hrs and 22:00hrs on 16/02/21.

 

Car parks on OAKENSHAW LANE and SHAY LANE for Walton Colliery Nature Park checked re Covid gatherings/ASB.  No vehicles/no issues.

 

Continued attention paid to Walton Park re nuisance kids. None present throughout tour.

 

No calls for service whilst in the ward area.

 

PS 6162 Simpson Reports

 

Patrol conducted in the Walton ward area between 14:00 hrs and 16:00 hrs on 15/02/21.

 

At request of Parish council continued attention paid to Walton Park re nuisance kids. None present today.

 

Patrol also conducted on THE GROVE after a report of a theft on the street (log 1154 08/2).  All in order.

 

PC THIMM reports,

 

Hi Vis patrols made between 00:00 X 02:00 on 06/02/2020. As has been done over the weekend a continued hi vis patrol of the entire village was conducted. Particular attention again paid to Oakenshaw Lane as per the requests of the local Parish Council.

 

51 Cars parked up on Oakenshaw Lane, door handles checked and found to be all locked and no valuables left on display.

 

Throughout the rest of the shift there was virtually no movement vehicle wise, and any vehicles which were seen were all checked out and found to live locally.

 

PC Steel reports,

 

Hi Vis patrols made between 00:00 X 02:00 on 07/02/2020. As has been done over the weekend a continued hi vis patrol of the entire village was conducted. Particular attention again paid to Oakenshaw Lane as per the requests of the local Parish Council. There were no issues at all. No valuables seen left on display in the vehicles along the street.

 

Throughout the rest of the shift there was virtually no movement vehicle wise, and any vehicles which were seen were all checked out and found to live locally.

PC Steel reports,

 

Patrols made between 00:00 X 02:00 on Friday 5th January.

 

Patrols made along Oakenshaw Lane with regards to checking for any insecure vehicles etc. This location has previously been mentioned as a hotspot for issues regarding vehicle crime. There were absolutely no issues whatsoever.

 

The general area of Walton was then patrolled with numerous vehicles moving around the area stopped and checked. All were local residents so no issues whatsoever.

 

All in all a very quiet night with no footfall and very low traffic in the area.

 

PS 6162 Simpson Reports

 

Patrol conducted in the Walton ward area between 13:00hrs and 16:00hrs on 04/02/21.

 

Attention paid to Walton Park re nuisance kids causing damage to the play equipment.  No issues.  Families with young children present.

 

Patrol also conducted around Walton Colliery Nature Park.  All in order.

 

No issues of gatherings/covid movement restrictions breaches.

 

 

 

 

Crime

 

There have been 3 reported crimes in the Walton area during February.

 

1 was a theft of a phone where a mobile phone was dropped and not located. It is believed to have been picked up and kept.

 

1 is a domestic related assault.

 

1 was an incident a dog has bit another dog and its owner causing injuries.
