PC Steel
reports,
Patrols
made on 17/09/2020 between 09:00 x 13:00.
I
conducted patrols initially around the local school. As I found with Crofton,
the staggered start times in the area at the schools seems to have massively
reduced any issues regarding parking etc. I did monitor the zebra crossing as
this was a big issue pre-lockdown but there were no offences at all in relation
to the crossing.
1 X
driver was issued with a ticket however for using their mobile phone whilst
driving.
I spent
the remainder of the shift on high visibilty patrols
around the area. I spoke to numerous residents in the village centre, aswell as in the woods etc. Very positive comments in
general, however I did recieve some negative comments
about some of the building work around the golf course and traffic problems
raised. I spent some time around that location and had to advise several
lorries around their inconsiderate parking and general courtesy (lie not
leaving wagon doors wide open into the road). The builders appeared to take
this advice on board however I will continue to monitor the issue.
PS 6162 Simpson Reports
Patrol conducted in the WALTON ward area between 13:00hrs
and 16:00hrs on 28/09/20.
Attention paid around BROOKLANDS estate following three
calls for service (Logs 1973, 1974 and 1976) yesterday regarding a
fight/disturbance on the street after a dog had been killed. No further apparent issues.
Patrol also conducted around Walton Colliery Nature
Park. All in order.
No calls for service whilst in the ward area
