Patrol conducted in the WALTON ward
area between 20:00hrs and 22:00hrs on 11/08/20.
Main arterial routes patrolled. Particular attention paid to OAKENSHAW LANE
following reports of two burglaries overnight on 9th/10th *401383 and *400320
refer.
No calls for Police service whilst in the ward area.

reports,
Patrols
undertaken as part of SAFE scheme on 14/08/2020 between 17:00 x 21:00. General
patrols made around the area with the monitoring of traffic. No issues at all
with regards to the roads.
I
patrolled the wooded areas/parks/nature reserve with regards to nuisance
behaviour. I spoke with numerous people within the nature reserve who were all
enjoying the area as it should be. 1 dog walker stated she had seen a motorbike
several days ago cutting through however no further issues. I had cause to
speak to 2 people in a car in the Nature reserve car park who appeared to be
getting a bit amorous. Advised regarding appropriate behaviour.

Simpson Reports
Patrol
conducted in the WALTON ward area between 00:00hrs and 03:00hrs on 20/08/20.
Attention
paid to OAKENSHAW LANE following report of a suspicious male in high vis vest
loitering around where he shouldn’t be log 1721 – No
further sightings. All main arterial and
side roads patrol – no one present.
Attended
log 1991 19/08 following a report of a van acting suspiciously in Morley
(possible out stealing) seen entering OAKENSHAW LANE from DONCASTER ROAD
heading towards Walton – Vehicle sighted on GREENSIDE heading towards COMMON
LANE. Upon sighting marked Police van,
vehicle sped away before a formal request to stop of the vehicle could be
made. Last seen travelling away from
WLATON along COMMON LANE towards CHEVET LANE.
Intel submitted re sighting of vehicle in area at 01:25hrs.*418903
Sighted
and stopped vehicle Ford Fiesta vrm 70FT as seen
driving at speed on WALTON LANE. Driver
and vehicle reside/registered in CROFTON and he stated he had been dropping
friends off before he was going home. No
document offence – in order. Driver
advised regarding his manner of driving (cannot prove speed offences from
observations alone).

Patrol conducted in the WALTON ward area between 20:00hrs
and 22:00hrs on 20/08/20.
Continued attention paid to OAKENSHAW LANE following report
of suspicious male and recent burglaries - no one present.
Patrols also conducted on SHAY LANE, SCHOOL LANE, THE BALK
and BROOKLANDS – No issues, no calls for service whilst in the ward area.
Crime
There have been 7 reported crimes in the Walton area during August.
1 of these was a burglary where a car was stolen.
2 of these were attempt burglaries of the same garage on 2 different dates.
1 was a fence which was damaged to allow access onto a field
1 was a domestic related criminal damage
1 was a domestic related theft
1 was a domestic related public order
