PS 6162 Simpson Reports
Patrol conducted in the Walton ward area between 14:00hrs and
16:00hrs on 17/12/20.
Patrols conducted primarily on OAKENSHAW LANE, SHAY LANE and ELMWOOD
estates following attempt burglaries and suspicious vehicle being reported by
residents (Logs 0873 12/12, 0323 15/12 and 1601 16/12). All in order.
No calls for service whilst in the ward area.
PC Steel reports,
Patrols made on
10/12/2020 between 07:00 X 11:00. The first part of the patrols was
concentrated on the traffic issues, specifically around the Infants school.
Like last month the volume of traffic has increased massively due to roadworks
on Doncaster Road.
The problem of parking
and vehicles not waiting at the zebra crossing appears to have eased somewhat. However there are particular vehicles which are causing
issues. I spent some time waiting for these vehicles however they did not
attend. i did however have to deal with a motorist
who was using his mobile phone whilst manouvering
through the traffic/zebra crossings. This was at a time when the zebra crossing
were been heavily used by the school children. The
vehicle was stopped a short distance away and issued with an endorsable ticket.
General patrols made
thereafter. The builders who caused an issue near the golf club were mentioned
to me again by a resident (inconsiderate parking etc). I did attend and spoke
with a male who was working and explained the issues. He appeared receptive
however time will tell.
No other issues at
all.
PS 6162 Simpson Reports
Patrol conducted in the Walton ward area between 20:00 hrs and 22:00
hrs on 09/12/20.

Park checked re ASB/ Drug misuse. No
vehicles/no issues.
Attention also paid on THE BALK following report of suspicious
Mercedes in the area (log 1809 08/12).
No further sightings.
PS 6162 Simpson
Reports
Patrol conducted in
the Walton ward area between 13:00 hrs and 16:00 hrs on 07/12/20.
Attention paid around
Walton Colliery Nature Park following report of strange woman following
children (log 0760 27/11). In order.
Patrol also conducted
on GREENSIDE/OAKENSHAW LANE/COMMON LANE following complaint of offensive
stickers being posted on lamp posts.
Continued attention
paid around BROOKLANDS estate. No
further issues.
