Policing in Walton
For many years now, the Parish Council in Walton has paid for extra police support in the village. This supplements the normal neighbourhood policing arrangements in order to ensure that we live in an environment that is as peaceful and as free from crime as possible. We are fortunate to have a dedicated police team, keen to address any problems raised by the Parish Council on behalf of village residents as well as responsive to the concerns of individual residents.

Walton Safe scheme conducted patrolled all areas of the village, including all the arterial routes and the estates. Nothing of note identified, paid attention to any offences of anti social driving along Shay lane nothing witnessed whilst on patrol.

Patrols made as part of SAFE scheme. Patrolled local school with no issues. Patrolled local housing estates as well as tracks leading into canal. No signs of off road bikes/quads at all.

Patrols made of area as part of SAFE scheme. Several motorists spoken to outside local school due to inconsiderate (although not illegal) parking. All moved on no problems. Patrolled local woods where intell has been received in relation to anti-social bikers in area. Nothing seen today and no evidence of bike use seen either.

UNKNOWN PERSON CONTACTS AGGRIEVED AND STATES THAT THEY HAVE SEEN PEOPLE TAKING TILES OUT OF GARDEN OCCURRENCE ADDRESS AND PUTTING THEM ONTO 34 BROOKLANDS AVENUE, UPON AGGRIEVED CHECKING THE TILE STOCK THEY HAVE CONFIRMED THAT THERE IS STOCK MISSING.

Victim is 11 years old. Between times and dates victim is walking home from local shops through ginnel which is at the side of the suspects house. Suspect approaches victim and accuses her of dropping litter. Suspect then raises his fist and states IF YOU DROP LITTER AGAIN YOULL GET SOME OF THIS. Victim feels scared and runs home

Previously reported about 10 or 15 rubble sacks dumped on The Balk, near wetlands. See FF-010663. The target date has expired and the caller has been into Reception to chase this up. The update states that we could not gain access as locked gate. The Caller would like to know if anything further has been done about gaining access as the bags are still there.
