Policing in Walton
For many years now, the Parish Council in Walton has paid for extra police support in the village. This supplements the normal neighbourhood policing arrangements in order to ensure that we live in an environment that is as peaceful and as free from crime as possible. We are fortunate to have a dedicated police team, keen to address any problems raised by the Parish Council on behalf of village residents as well as responsive to the concerns of individual residents.

Dog Fouling

12:21 09/12/2017 Brooklands Avenue

Is who is letting their dog foul known: No

Has the dog owner been approached: No

Owner approached details:

Event Address: STREET RECORD BROOKLANDS AVENUE, WALTON, WAKEFIELD

Is the fouling close to where children play: Yes

Is this a recurring problem: Yes

Recurring details: most days

Offender details:

Where is the fouling: Footpath

Brooklands Avenue Walton is a dodge the dog poo path. I have to walk my son on the roads most days due to people not picking up dog mess. Dog mess not any bins except near park to put dog mess into. I have to walk with my son on the Brooklands avenue road back and to school because people leave it on path. It got better for a while now it's bad even worse than before. People with prams are hit worse as they can't avoid it sometimes and end up with it on there wheels which the pram goes into the house. Can't something be done to catch the culprit. Surely someone can sit in wait at dog walking hours undercover to catch them.
