ANNUAL AWARD OF GRANTS
The Parish Council has set aside a budget of £1,000 to be awarded in the form of grants for projects that are a benefit to the people living in Walton. Priority will be given to those projects which benefit its younger or more senior residents. The maximum awarded for any one group will be £250. The closing date for the receipt of applications is Monday 12th May.
REMOVAL OF DISEASED ELM TREE OUTSIDE VILLAGE HALL.
Because of the danger of the spread of Dutch Elm disease, the lower of the two elm trees outside the Village Hall on School Lane, which is suffering from the disease, has been felled and removed.
