Walton Village Hall   The purpose of this website is to provide information on the activities of Walton Parish Council for all residents of the village and for anyone who has an interest in this attractive and historic village.  Walton village is situated some 3 miles to the south-east of Wakefield in West Yorkshire.  It has a newly built Primary School and Library and a newly designated Nature Reserve.  The Parish Council owns the Village Hall and a recreation ground in School Lane with a football pitch and playground for children who live in the village.  A wide range of activities take place in the Village Hall and it can be hired for other events and activities. (See Notices page).

The Parish Council exists to serve the community of this village which has about 2700 registered electors.  Further Information is provided through the pages at the left.  Any comments or suggestions would be welcome about this website or about the work of the Parish Council  and can be addressed to the Clerk (David Plaut) or to individual Councillors.
